It’s amazing how animals can have such big hearts and be so loving towards each other. It doesn’t matter if they are related or not, what truly matters is the unconditional love they share. One prime example of this is Everly, a lovable pit bull who was chosen by a baby squirrel to be its new mother. Witnessing this bond between them is truly something special and magical.

Everly, being a pit bull, has always been known for her loving and nurturing nature. However, it is not fair to generalize all pit bulls as bad dogs as it is the humans who teach them to be mean. Everly demonstrates the loyalty, love, and nurturing qualities that are typical of her breed. She is always excited to make friends with other animals and is an affectionate companion.

During a leisurely stroll, Morgan Joy Groves and her daughter Everly stumbled upon a lone baby squirrel, which immediately caught the toddler’s interest. Groves didn’t find it odd that Everly was drawn to the tiny creature and they decided to investigate further.

The tiny creature was just an infant and it seemed like he had a good instinct in choosing Everly as his mother figure. He showed an instant fondness towards the affectionate dog, who he seemed to perceive as a maternal figure. The little squirrel kept trailing Everly and even accompanied her and Groves back to their house.

Everly decided to take a break and lie down, which prompted a small squirrel to approach her even more closely. The adorable creature nestled itself on top of Everly, and they both peacefully dozed off, enjoying each other’s company.

Following the incident, Everly had made up her mind to take care of the tiny baby squirrel. As a result, she became the foster mother of the squirrel and they spent many hours cuddling and napping together. However, Groves had realized that the squirrel required more attention than they could provide to ensure that it grew up healthy and capable of caring for itself. After a brief period, they decided to transfer the baby squirrel to a wildlife center where it could receive the best possible care. The squirrel would grow up in the company of two other squirrels at the center and, eventually, would be returned to the wild with them. The little squirrel would always remember its foster mother with fondness and appreciation for the love and comfort she provided when it was most needed.
