Hypercars are a special breed of cars that pushes the boundaries to an extreme level when it comes to performance. These cars push out more than 800 hp on an average and are borderline race cars. Some of the recent hypercars are the Aston Martin Valkyrie, Bugatti Divo, AMG Project One and the Pagani Huayra R. The hypercars are the highest order of automobiles and there is nothing above and beyond them.

But we are on the cusp of witnessing a complete shift from ICE engined cars to fully electric cars. The same story can also be witnessed with the hypercars. Earlier hypercars used to be powered solely by an internal combustion engine, and the current crop of hypercars heavily rely upon hybrid assistance for that extra punch. However, the future is not going to be the same. As we all know, electric cars are taking over the scene and the future of hypercars is also electric. The electric hypercars are so rapid that they are redefining the whole hypercar game. To further understand what lies ahead, here 10 electric hypercars that are changing the game.

The Tesla Roadster is a controversial product. It’s been ages since the hypercar was announced and there has been no news about it or its impending launch. However, what Tesla claims for the Roadster is out of this world. 0-62mph comes up in just 2.1 seconds, which is incredibly fast. Tesla also claims that the Roadster can reach speeds of up to 248mph. The Tesla also offers a range of over 620 miles. Again, these are all impressive figures on paper, and will remain purely hypothetical until Tesla prove their claims or back it up with some real-world tests.
