Laguna Colorada (Red Lagoon) is a well-known shallow salt lake in Bolivia, the water of which is

red due to algae and sediment deposited beneath. There are also small white islands in the lake that

are made up of the harp. This shallow salt lake is also a haven for the flamingos.

2- Lake Hiller (Australia):

Pink Lake Hiller is a world-famous lake that has been mentioned previously. Lake Hiller is a salt lake

that stands out among the foliage. This “jewel” can be found on Middle Island in Australia.

3- The Jellyfish Lake (Palau):

Ellyfish Lake is a seawater lake located on the island of Eil Malk in Palau. The unique lake has millions

of golden jellyfish moving in the lake bed every day. This pair of jellyfish is dark yellow,

human touch can cause irritation quite stinging sensation. However, their location is not harmful.

4- Lake Baikal (Siberia, Russia):

Baikal, located in Russia’s Eastern Siberia, is not only the world’s largest freshwater lake, but also a

unique natural wonder with unique beauty. The landscape of Lake Baikal in winter, when the surface

is frozen, particularly impresses any visitor. This one-of-a-kind feature is caused by the accumulation

of molten methane gas, which forms long fissures.

5- Boiling Lake, Dominica:

Boiling Lake in Dominica, as the name suggests, is a constantly boiling lake. The water at the lake’s edge

can also reach 70-90 degrees Celsius. The lake’s water is constantly hot and boiling due to its proximity

to an active volcano.

6- Man Sagar Lake (Jaipur, India):

Man Sagar Lake is home to the Jal Mahal floating palace, Jaipur’s most popular tourist attraction. The Jal

Mahal Palace was built in the 1700s for Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Due to flooding caused by dam

construction, the structure was surrounded by water.

7- Lake Resia (Italy):

Lake Resia is an artificial lake in South Tyrol, a province in northern Italy, that was built in 1950. The lake is

well-known for its submerged 14th-century church in the middle of it. The church’s bell tower remains

afloat on the water, creating a lovely landscape image.
