Anyone who is a fan of Tennis sensation Maria Sharapova will be aware of her profound love for Porsches and her special car collection. Moreover the Russian sports star is not only a Porsche fanatic but also the brand ambassador of the iconic German car brand. Maria’s deep association with Porsches first began with a 911 Carrera S Cabriolet, which she won at the 2012 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix, since then the Tennis champion has become an avid collector of sporty and stylish Porsches.   Here’s the list of Porsche owned by Maria Sharapova:

Porsche Panamera GTS:

One of the perks of being a brand ambassador of a car brand is that you get to customise your car as you want it. And that is exactly what Maria Sharapova did with her special Porsche Panamera GTS. The car has been exclusively accessorised by Maria and features a number of options from the Porsche Exclusive program including blacked-out LED headlights, tinted LED rear lights, black tailpipe covers of the sports exhaust system and 20-inch Panamera sports wheels in black – all contrast with the car’s white paint.

Under the hood the Panamera GTS is powered by a 4.8-liter V8 engine that churns out 440PS of power and 520.6 Nm of peak torque. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.4 seconds and to reach a top speed of 288 kmph.

Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet:

This particular Porsche is the dearest one to her. As mentioned earlier this was her first Porsche and she was gifted this GBP 80000 car after winning the 2012 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix. Tabloids also say that Maria is so possessive about the 911 that she doesn’t even let her boyfriend drive it. Well all we can say is that the car deserves such kind of love. This super stylish convertible comes with plush spacious interiors and the seats covered with high end leather. It features an electric power steering and an improved suspension system. The 911 is powered by a 3.8-litre, rear mounted engine that churns out 400 PS of peak power and 440.6 PS of peak torque. The car comes with a 7-speed manual transmission and can do a 0 – 100 kmph sprint in about 4.6-seconds reaching a top speed of 285 kmph.

While Maria’s current Porsche collection only contains these two machines, it is quiet likely that the next addition to her garage will be the new-generation Porsche Boxter Spyder. Apparently Maria Sharapova recently called in at PORSCHE Centre Mayfair, ahead of the WTA Pre-Wimbledon Party, for a ride in the latest Porsche. Speaking about the drive, Sharapova commented: “This is huge fun – truly thrilling. I love that this new Boxster Spyder is like a classic sports car, but at the same time feels so modern and sophisticated. It’s a fantastic car and I need to get one!” Well there you have it, she couldn’t have been more clear about her next purchase than this.

The new Boxster Spyder comes with a 3.4-litre mid-engine that is capable of pumping out 315 PS of power and a peak torque of 360.6 Nm. The convertible comes with a 6-speed manual transmission that helps the car to accelerate from 0 – 100 kmph in 4.9-seconds reaching a top speed of 278 kmph.
