Elon Musk’s Car Collection: A Showcase of Engineering and Design Brilliance

1920 Ford Model T

True history on wheels is the Ford Model T. When Henry Ford took the decision to release the Model T, the first mass-produced car for the general public, he created the most significant automobile of the 20th century.

In actuality, Musk received the Model T as a present from a friend. The fαct that the most significant automobile of the 20th century is kept in the garage of (perhaps) the most significant automobile manufacturer of the 21st century thus seems to make perfect sense.

Model X

It appears that Musk doesn’t merely create cars for the benefit of the world at large. He actively loves his ideas, as evidenced by the Tesla Model X in his fleet of vehicles. Incidentally, Musk told the world about this a few years ago via his Twitter account. Musk adores the Model X, a mid-size luxury crossover EV that has been in production since 2015. He uses it primarily to transport his children, so he appreciates its utility.

1967 E-Type Jaguar Roadster

Musk described how, at the age of 17, he came upon the Jaguar E-type in a vintage convertible catalog. He then made the decision that if he ever had the money, it would be the car he brought home. He also remembers the E-Type being “like a nasty relationship” for him. Musk recalls, “It kept breαking down on me.”

The vehicle even had a breakdown on the way back from the dealer! Musk used his $40,000 incentive from the agreement to pᴜrchase an E-Type Jaguar when they acquired Zip2. Of course, being the lavish man that he is, he spent the entire bonus amount—all except $5,000—on the vehicle. But the Roadster continues to reside in Musk’s garage.

Tesla Roadster: The One That’s Up There

Musk undoubtedly has a Tesla Roadster. Yet, this one is no longer in his garage; instead, it is perched high above the stars. After SpaceX’s Falcon Heavy rocket launch in 2018, Musk loaded his Roadster with a dᴜmmy astronaut driving it into the night sky.

Also, anyone may determine precisely where in the orbit the Roadster is floating. This was Tesla’s first electric automobile, which makes it historically significant even without the added bragging rights of floating in space. The Roadster, which had lithium-ion batteries and was built on a Lotus Elise chassis, could go from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds.

2019 Tesla Model S Performance

Elon Musk enjoys to drive the Tesla Model S the most. After all, many people believe that the Model S is the most pleasant and luxurious vehicle available in the Tesla series. It is also the vehicle that Musk used to debut the “Ludicrous” mode, which was modeled by his Hamann-tuned BMW M5.

The billionaire, however, needed even more speed, so he also produced a “Plaid” model of the Model S, which was capable of moving even more quickly than a ridiculously rapid standard Model S.

2020 Tesla Cybertruck: Are We Even Sᴜrprised?

Does it sᴜrprise anyone that one of the most divisive people on the planet travels in the divisiveest car built since the turn of the century? The controversially built Cybertruck, which advertises bulletproof windows, isn’t available to the general population because of pandemic shutdowns.

The Cybertruck garnered $20 million for Tesla through publicity alone, with astounding $100 deposits. Nevertheless, as Musk disclosed, those who have been waiting for their Cybertrucks would now have to wait until later in 2023.

Without a question, Elon Musk’s auto collection is among the most interesting and diverse in existence. Also, each of the cars included here has a unique history and has contributed in some manner to the development of the automotive industry.
