From Courtside to Homestead: Kyrie Irving’s Opulent $800,000 Mansion Resembles a Real Estate Masterpiece

After being selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall choice in 2011, Kyrie Irving executed a real estate transaction by purchasing a house that was 5,500 square feet in size from Daniel Gibson and Keyshia Cole, who had previously played for the Cavaliers. The transaction was completed for a price of $800,000. Before he was moved to the Boston Celtics, he called this Cleveland estate his home all the way through.

A huge residence with four bedrooms and six bathrooms, Kyrie’s former estate in Cleveland also had a number of other amenities. The fact that he has a basketball hoop and an outside basketball ring in his living room is evidence of the fact that he is very passionate about the sport.

Beyond basketball, the mansion boasted amenities like a recording studio, a movie theater, and a gym, providing ample entertainment and relaxation options when Kyrie wasn’t on the court. The opulent home also included a generous master bedroom, complete with a bathtub and a walk-in closet.

Despite this, Kyrie made the decision to sell the mansion near the end of his career, when it was at its most successful. The Westlake property was sold by him in 2017 for a total price of $1.7 million. Following a period of difficulty in locating a purchaser, Kyrie eventually consented to a discount of $755,000 for the property.
