James led a rejuvenated Lakers team to 55 wins in the regular season, averaging 28.9 points (his fifth-highest total), 8.3 rebounds, and 6.8 assists. The Lakers acquired Gabe Vincent and Taurean Prince to an already potent squad in the offseason in order to increase their chances of making a deep playoff run in 2023-24.
