Positano, a hotspot for celebrities like Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Jordan, and Lakers team president Magic Johnson, served as the perfect picturesque setting for the NBA superstar’s leisurely outing. On Wednesday afternoon, the 33-year-old James embraced a relaxed style, wearing a white tank top, blue shorts, sunglasses, and a colorful fitted hat.
During his yacht excursion, James was captured gesturing towards the camera, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere with his loved ones. Following the announcement of his landmark $154 million contract with the Los Angeles Lakers, James jetted off to Italy with his wife and three children on Monday, immediately after finalizing the deal with Lakers president Magic Johnson.
Expressing gratitude to his hometown of Northeast Ohio via Instagram, James referred to it as his eternal home amidst the excitement surrounding his iconic move. A native of Akron, Ohio, James was originally drafted as the No. 1 pick by the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2003. After stints with the Miami Heat from 2010 to 2014, he returned to the Cavaliers, declining a reported $35.6 million contract option for the 2018-2019 season in favor of joining the Lakers.
While James and his family unwind in Italy, Lakers fans are reveling in the news.
