A few weeks ago, Hearts Bones Rescue sent a homeless Shepherd mix to Dallas Animal Services. The stray recently gave birth to 11 adorable puppies, and there was something peculiar about one of them. This puppy had significant black markings on her face that closely looked like a handlebar mustache, which caught everyone’s attention.

Consequently, the cute little pooch was dubbed as Salvador Dolly, in honor of the famous Spanish artist Salvador Dali. Dali was not only renowned for his artistic masterpieces, but also for his iconic mustache.

The shelter received a lot of stray animals and the staff had to find them a home as soon as possible. Luckily, a generous foster family offered to take care of the animals until they could find permanent homes.

Salvador Dolly, along with her mother and siblings, will soon be up for adoption in the coming month of August. Currently, the puppies are still nursing and are under careful observation. Their mother is also receiving proper care and nourishment to sustain her strength in caring for all of them.

Salvador Dolly has been receiving a lot of interest from potential adopters, but it will still be a while until she and her family are taken to their new home in New York. The volunteers taking care of the puppies are happy for Salvador Dolly, but they also want her mother and ten other siblings to find loving homes as well.

All these lovely creatures are in search of a place to call home, and the greatest perk of adopting them is the unlimited licks, furry hugs, and boundless affection they offer.
