Sharapova was a five-time Grand Slam champion but officially “hung up her racket” at the beginning of the year due to persistent injuries she encountered during her illustrious career. Sharapova’s latest training session took her to the beaches of the US with trainer Tommy Cassano, where she posed in a healthy manner under clear blue skies before performing some expert pad punches. She also added to the intensity with weight training and sprints. The session ended with Sharapova doing a series of stretching exercises with a resistance band.
