‘Tennis Queen’ Maria Sharapova unexpectedly shows off boxing skills on the beach

Sharapova was a five-time Grand Slam champion but officially “hung up her racket” at the beginning of the year due to persistent injuries she encountered during her illustrious career. Although her tennis career has ended, the beautiful former tennis player still maintains her training to stay healthy and fit.
Sharapova’s latest training session took her to the beaches of the US with trainer Tommy Cassano, where she posed in a healthy manner under clear blue skies before performing some expert pad punches. She also added to the intensity with weight training and sprints. The session ended with Sharapova doing a series of stretching exercises with a resistance band.

Maria Sharapova turned professional in 2001 at the age of 14. Two years later, she won her first WTA (Women’s Tennis Association) title at the Japan Open. That same year, Sharapova was named “Rookie of the Year.”
In 2004, Sharapova shocked the world when she beat a host of big names, including the legendary Serena Williams, to win Wimbledon. Not only her talent, but also the beauty of the 1m88 tall girl at that time captured the hearts of many men. Since then, many fans still call her by the nickname “Russian Doll”.
