The Stakes are High: Ten Hag Believes Man Utd’s Future Depends on Champions League Qualification!

Erik ten Hag, the current manager of Manchester United, has stressed the significance of securing a spot in the Champions League to attract new players and strengthen the team’s rebuilding project.

Manchester United, who have won the Champions League three times, have not made it past the quarter-finals since 2011 and had to settle for Europa League football this season after finishing sixth in the Premier League last season.

Ten Hag’s primary focus is to guide Manchester United back to winning the Champions League and Premier League, and he considers qualifying for the Champions League as crucial to attracting the required standard of players to join the club in the upcoming summer transfer window.

He emphasized that all big players want to play in the Champions League, and Manchester United being a big club, it has attracted a lot of interest.

Ten Hag believes that playing in the Champions League provides an opportunity to face the best teams across Europe, the best managers, and play in the best stadiums.

The competition also offers players the chance to face the best players, and as a team, you are in a better league schedule, which is crucial for rebuilding the club.

Regarding Manchester United’s upcoming match against Brighton, Ten Hag stated that after losing to Brighton on the opening day, they have come a long way, and a lot has changed since then.

He believes that Manchester United is heading in the right direction, but there is still a long way to go. He added that they fight for every position and every yard on the pitch because that is the meaning of top football.
