The NBA career of Victor Wembanyama is also coming to an end as the season approaches its conclusion in just one month. The San Antonio Spurs (14-53), who are positioned last in the crowded Western Conference, are far from contending for the postseason.

The Spurs are coming off a three-game losing streak and have only triumphed once in their previous six games, against the Golden State Warriors, when they take on the Brooklyn Nets.

Victor Wembanyama is still vying with OKC Thunder’s Chet Holmgren for the title of 2024 Rookie of the Year.

In 59 games, the former 92 big player for the Metropolitans has averaged 20.6 points, 10.3 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 3.4 blocks, and 1.3 steals. He set a career high for scoring (38 points) and rebounding (20 rebounds) against the Phoenix Suns and Chicago Bulls, respectively.

Wembanyama missed two games on March 7 and 9, which were against the Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors. He then participated in San Antonio’s last three games, averaging 15.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 2.3 baskets, and 1.3 steals.
