Weirdest Greens On Earth – 10 Plants So Bizarre, They Look Alien

To me, trees hold a special significance. As George Nakashima eloquently expressed in his book The Soul of a Tree, being surrounded by these magnificent beings allows me to effortlessly connect with their essence and recognize their enduring power. They seem to embody a force that transcends human suffering, almost like avatars. When I’m alone amongst a group of trees, sometimes I can sense their soul, although some trees communicate more clearly than others. During my travels to Western Sweden, I was struck by the beauty of the Scots Pine, or “Tall” as the locals call them. These trees often grow hidden away in forested areas on rocky outcrops, and one particular Tall tree stands out to me like an avatar, occupying its own corner of the world. Here, I’ve captured some snapshots of this magnificent tree.
