In order for these foals to grow up and act in everything from parades to commercials, extra particular care must be taken not just during breeding but also during socialising. For the past 35 years, Soto has helped maintain their stunning stock and made sure that every foal is born healthy. He has helped to raise 400–500 Clydesdale horses over that time. Additionally, he takes care of the retired horses that have worked in the harness.

When they join one of Budweiser’s three traveling teams, it will be his responsibility to see to it that they are properly raised so they can perform as expected. And even if these young horses have attitude and sass, Soto treats them all with kindness and compassion.
