GenTex Wins Contract to Outfit Marines with Enhanced Combat Helmets

Gentex Corp., located in Simpson, Pennsylvania, has been awarded a maximum $94,390,689 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for Enhanced Combat Helmets. With a century-long legacy, Gentex Corporation’s products have been trusted by global defense forces to provide industry-leading protection and advanced performance capabilities. The contract was awarded through a competitive acquisition, with one response received. It is a four-year contract with no option periods. The ordering period end date is June 21, 2027. The United States Marine Corps will be using the military service. The type of appropriation is fiscal 2023 through 2027 defense working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
