This season, despite enduring further injuries, Davis managed to excel and maintain impressive performance statistics, even when LeBron James was absent from the lineup. However, another setback occurred when he suffered a foot injury against the Denver Nuggets in mid-December.
Reflecting on the emotional toll of potentially facing another prolonged absence from the season, Davis revealed a poignant moment at home. 
He confessed to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin that he found himself in tears in a closet, prompting concern from his 6-year-old daughter, Nala. Despite his reluctance to be approached, Nala eventually comforted him with a hug before darting off with an idea, leaving Davis to ponder the situation.
Despite ongoing challenges, including LeBron James’ injury and the team’s uncertain playoff standing, Anthony Davis is navigating the season better than before.
