Despite his belief in winning Steffy Forrester back, John “Finn” Finnegan’s discovery could potentially thwart Liam’s plans.
During the week of December 11-15, Finn will reveal something from his research that offers a chance to save Eric Forrester.
There could be a way for Eric to pull through and hopefully get many more years with his family.
Finn is stepping up for Steffy when Dr. Colin Colby and all the other specialists insisted it was all over.
No one has been able to give Eric any hope at all, but now here comes SuperFinn to save the day!
Of course, things will be a bit complicated due to Ridge Forrester’s medical power of attorney and the problems he’ll cause.
However, the show is clearly setting it up for Finn to be the hero who helps Steffy keep her beloved granddad around.
Steffy has made it clear that she’s committed to Finn and that he’s the one she wants, but this is just going to make her adore her husband even more.
It was already a stretch to think Steffy would ever leave Finn for Liam, but this whole situation makes it even more far-fetched.
Why on earth would Steffy reunite with Liam and ditch the wonderful, loyal man who saved Eric’s life?
Once Liam gets updates on Finn coming through for Eric like this, he may have mixed emotions deep down.
Liam will obviously be happy to hear that Eric pulled through, but he may also realize he’s fighting a losing battle.
It’s tough to imagine Steffy walking away from Finn after this heroic act, so he may be sealing the “Sinn” endgame here.
Will this mark a turning point and officially shut the door on Steffy’s old romance with Liam?
Will Liam have to accept that the “Steam” reunion he wants just isn’t going to happen?
