Spectacular Photos From This Year's Tulip Season In The Netherlandsas a full-time landscape photographer, i travel all around the world for my photography. But photographing my own home country, The Netherlands, never gets old!

This year, i spent the whole tulip season in my homeland and captured a big variety of tulip photos: From storms and lightning strikes to lots of drone shots and beautiful misty mornings.all of these photos were captured this year.

As a professional landscape photographer, I have had the opportunity to visit many stunning locations around the world. However, capturing the beauty of my home country never fails to inspire me. My familiarity with the seasons and years of experience predicting weather patterns allow me to plan my shoots with precision, ensuring I capture the perfect shot. Although I have photographed my homeland extensively, I remain challenged to produce original and innovative compositions. Continually improving my Netherlands portfolio is a priority, whether it’s by capturing the same locations in a better way or exploring new ones. Even after all these years, I still find new places every year that inspire me to create exceptional photos.

Spectacular Photos From This Year's Tulip Season In The Netherlands

This year, the most memorable evening for me was when I captured a stunning scene of tulips with a big shelf cloud looming in the background, followed by a thunderstorm. Storms seemed to be a recurring theme of the season, likely due to the cold spring and slow start. Nonetheless, I found them to be beautiful and enjoyed capturing the contrast between the dark clouds and bright tulips. Additionally, I focused on taking drone shots of picturesque villages in the North West of the country, spending a significant amount of time capturing the cute villages surrounded by tulip fields. This added an extra dimension to the shots and made them even more charming.
