When a guy in Argentina chose to adopt a dog with a tumor to spend his final days surrounded by affection, he gave him the most wonderful parting present. Luciano Karosas, a guy from Berazategui, Buenos Aires, had taken the decision to keep the dog in his home during his final weeks.

Before being adopted, the dog, whom he named ‘Thanos,’ was known as ‘Coconut,’ and had previously been rejected by numerous homes owing to his condition.

Fortunately for Thanos, Luciano emerged, who, after hearing his terrible story, decided to do something to make his final days on Earth better.

Thanos was diagnosed with cancer, which progressed fast to his brain and resulted in the creation of a large tumor.

The dog was formerly part of a family, but when they realized how difficult it would be to care for it owing to the condition, they opted to abandon it.

Several families took him in, but they couldn’t cope with his situation, so he was returned to the shelter, where he met Luciano.

When the 21-year-old met Thanos and learned of his narrative as well as the fact that he only had a few days to live, all he could think of was a solution.

Luciano’s enormous heart told him that he should adopt Thanos, take him home, and shower him with affection in his final days.

Luciano told Portal Amigo Cao the following:

“I had a piece of my heart in my palm as I walked away.”

Luciano was certainly eager to make Thanos’ final days memorable, but he couldn’t accept that he couldn’t do anything to help the animal’s condition.

As a result, the young guy brought Thanos to a number of professional vets in the hopes that they would be able to operate on him and prolong his life.

Lucian stated, ”

“It was tough for me to get used to the concept of spending so little time together.” I brought him to a stem cell vet to see what we could do, hoping for a ray of hope (because he’d been given 40 days to live), but he informed me there’s no way to prolong that time.”

Luciano merely decided to make the most of the little time he would have Thanos as his beloved pet after hearing the tragic news. They spent a lot of time together; Luciano caressed him as much as he could, Thanos appeared to be content, and he even played and cuddled with Luciano like any other dog.

The couple of friends were unconcerned about the fatal condition; all they wanted to do was make the most of their time together and have as many wonderful moments as possible.

Unfortunately, Thanos succumbed to the severe sickness after several weeks of pleasure and love.
