The baby elephant happily moves around with his new prosthetic leg after a mine injury

Meet Mosha the special elephant that made history by being the first-ever elephant to be fitted with an efficient as well as practical prosthetic leg.

She was only 7 months young when she lost her leg to a landmine. This placed immense stress on her spinal column as well as her other 3 limbs.

Mosha is an irreversible inhabitant of the Friends of the Eastern Elephant Foundation (FAE) in Thailand, and also this is where she obtained her new leg.
