The sleeping cat suddenly woke up with a start, stuck its head out and then fell asleep again. However, it was a 3D image of the cat projected outside the building.
Many Japanese people are standing and looking at a cat as big as a floor lying on a building at Shinjuku Station, Tokyo.
But this did not make netizens lose interest, because the movements and expressions of the 3D cat were lifelike, at times it looked like it was about to jump out of the screen.
A hotel employee who witnessed the cat with his own eyes said: “Even though the cat is a three-dimensional image, it is still very adorable, even dog lovers like us have to fall in love with it.”
“The image is so realistic, it feels like the cat is about to jump out,” said another person, “I just regret that the cat’s appearance time is a bit short.”
This virtual cat has created such a buzz with the Japanese and international online community that it has a Twitter account with up to 17,000 followers.
