When they found him he was in the worst condition they had ever seen, filthy, hungry, and absolutely terrified!

When staff from Merrimack Feline Rescue Society found Frisbee as part of a TNR run he was filthy. His fur was in the worst condition of any cat they had ever seen, and to top it off he was starving and terrified to boot. His fear made him difficult to catch, so traps had to be set before he was caught and taken to safety.

“He was discovered outside, terribly matted (worse we’d ever seen) and starving. He was seized as part of the Trap-Castration-Return program, and it was determined that he was friendly and in desperate need of dental treatment,” a staff member from Merrimack Feline Rescue Society.

After arriving at the shelter Frisbee was immediately cleaned up and had his matted fur removed and his teeth treated.

The good news was his skeletal structure was good, without a single fracture, which meant he already had a good path back to recovery.

Once he got over his fear this lovely cat turned out to be a love bug. In his caregiver’s hands, he was constantly purring and looking for any lap to cuddle into. In a matter of hours, he went from a filthy lonely cat to a happy clean one.

Frisbee was provided all the love and care he needed to restore to full health. And though his transformation was gradual, in a matter of weeks it was complete, and soon he was ready for adoption.

Frisbee miraculously found a home considerably sooner than his rescuers anticipated.

“Frisbee has already found a loving home.” He informed his contacts about the rescue squad.

His fur came back healthy and lustrous, and he even discovered his favorite chair. Frisbee enjoys his pleasant and luxurious existence and is unconcerned about anything.

This lovely, fluffy ball of fur now spends her days soaking up the love she receives from her new home. She enjoys lying down and being pampered during the day. This time, a furry one was saved, and she now has a new life, but there are still many animals on the streets.

People’s ethical training is the only long-term option to ending the irresponsible and cruel treatment of animals.
