For 7 long years, Captain blended into a mass of felines in New Jersey (USA). He was unfortunately only one animal among many others. However, he dreamed of only one thing: to start a new life with human beings ready to pamper him on a daily basis. Has he granted his dearest wish?
Captain the cat had only one wish in his life: to make a family happy. Unfortunately, until the age of 7, he lived in a real colony of felines. He shared his daily life with about twenty other animals, but none of that made him really happy.
It wasn’t until last January that things started looking up for the sweet Captain . After being rescued from its former life by volunteers from the Gloucester County Animal Shelter , the tomcat arrived at an association in New Jersey: the Community Cat Club . Quickly, this ” super cute ” cat was relocated to a foster family.
A real little cream!
In no time, Captain showed extreme gentleness towards his benefactors. “ Captain is incredibly nice. He absolutely loves everyone he meets ,” charity founder Sara Sharp told Love Meow . Indeed, this docile and friendly cat was quick to win everyone around him.
Captain had finally become the center of attention, as he had always dreamed of! Cuddles, caresses and naps full of tenderness were now part of his new life. With his doe eyes and plump cheeks, his benefactors found him ” irresistible “.
For the first time in his life, Captain was extremely lucky to have a room just for him, filled with cozy nests and toys of all kinds. Nevertheless, he would prefer to spend most of his time in the company of his new human friends, who are particularly precious to him.
“Love at first sight”
At the same time, his foster home was looking for him an adoptive family. Captain ‘s success was such that in just a few days, adoption requests appeared. It is finally a couple having completely ” fallen under his spell ” who will win his favor.
“ It was clearly love at first sight. They took him in their arms, and he immediately snuggled up against them. They immediately knew he was the one ,” Sara recalls , with emotion. Today, it’s undeniable: Captain leads the life he’s always dreamed of!
The tomcat no longer leaves its new masters in one step. He is now ” the king of his new kingdom “, and loves to cuddle with them, or take a nap with them. He also likes to perch on their shoulders, like a parrot !
“ Captain is doing great today. He receives a lot of love in his new family. We are all very happy for them ,” Sara concluded .
