If a dog is a hero by being trained, this black cat is a hero by nature!

Recently, Bodmin Police posted on Facebook an incredible story. It was reported that there was an 83-year-old woman who had fallen to a steep ravine with a height of 70ft, calling for help. Her devoted black kitty named Piran started to vocalize frantically and constantly in the large maize field, hoping someone could give him a hand. He kept meowing until Tamar Longmuir, a kind woman who lived in Cornwall, England, heard his distress. The woman followed Piran’s lead and she discovered that was her neighbor.

“The cat is very attached to her, and he was going back and forth in the gateway and meowing, so I decided to go and search the maize field.” – Tamar explained.

Tamar carefully went along with the black cat to the field where his beloved human mom was stuck. The crying was clearer when Piran was in front of the gate, and what Tamar saw was a 70ft tall slope. A woman and a cat couldn’t do wonders alone, she supposed. It was difficult to access the area, so Tamar needed the searching crews’ help. During the rescue, the woman found this black cat was ‘unusual’.

For the elderly’s sake, Tamar came down to the slope no matter how risky and slippery it was. She assumed that her neighbor must have been in the predicament for hours. She found the poor woman laying down the stream with some scratches from the barbed wire.

With a speedy time, the elderly was successfully rescued by a brave woman. She said the woman was safe and sound without any major injury. Tamar found a way to climb up on the slope.

“Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service were in attendance, along with their specialist water rescue team, Cornwall Air Ambulance, and SWAST, and the female was hoisted back up to the field on a stretcher via line rescue.” – Bodmin Police reported.

Finally, Tamar’s neighbor and her smart black cat had the reunion thanks to everyone’s effort. Such an ordeal when an elderly had to face this situation! It was also said that the woman was in stable condition after being taken to the hospital by the teams via a helicopter. The story has captured many people on the Internet, all of them dubbed the kitty as a hero. Tamar couldn’t be more disagree with the comments.

“Without the cat waiting at the gate to that field, it could have been hours later that I or anyone else would have checked there.” – Tamar said.
