In the Indonesian islands, the Komodo dragon is a carnivore at the top of the food chain. Its prey consists of buffaloes, cows, deer, horses, and monkeys, among other huge species.
The monkey’s seeming carelessness may have led to its capture by the Komodo dragon on the ground. It was bitten by the dragon and wailed in pain as a result.
If it is other huge prey, the Komodo dragon will bite the opponent and then calmly wait for the poison to be absorbed by the victim’s body.
